Men’s groups are often hard to find, andsometimes thats because you’re not sure what to look for.

If you are in a crisis and wanting support quickly we recommend the MensLine group that meets on every Tuesday at Christchurch Community House, 141 Hereford St., Christchurch, at 7:30 pm. They provide a facilitator. Cost is $5.

If you are not in a crisis, MensLine (above) is still a good place to start if you’ve never been in a men’s group. If you have some experience we recommend MensTrust for men’s weekends (either therapeutic in focus, or informal). These often lead to the formation of self-led men’s groups. If you have quite a bit of expereince with men’s groups then we recommend ManKind Project for their weekly group.
